Principal's Message

I extend a warm welcome to you and your family. I am very proud to be the Principal of this wonderful school. It is a privilege for me to work with our students, our staff and our families to make our school they very best it can be. My aim is to lead our school community to enable us to work together to achieve our goals.

We want each of our students to leave school with the values of respect, cooperation, persistence and striving for excellence underpinning all that they do. Our students develop responsibility for their own behavior and the choices they make, and also a communal responsibility to assist their peers to do the same. Our students become strong in self-esteem and personal expectation and develop a healthy and respectful tolerance for others.

The developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children provides all the areas of a child’s development; physical, social, emotional and cognitive.

Because middle school years are a time of academic, physical, and social growth, our team is focused on developing not only lifelong skills to be a successful student but also skills to be a kind, compassionate, and responsible citizen.
Parental involvement in a child’s education process is both a gift to your child and a gift to the school. This partnership is strongly encouraged and highly valued at GHS.

Finally, keeping children at the center of all decisions helps to lead us in the right direction. We are very proud of all we do for children and of the continued support from everyone involved with our school.

Please be sure to contact us with any concerns, comments, or questions. Open communication between home and school is required in order to effectively work as partners in ensuring your child has a successful school year.

I wish you all a very wonderful and a gainful school year.
